Oqaatsut (previously known as Rodebay) is a small fishing settlement on the west coast of Greenland.  There is also some "get away from it all" tourism.  It has no roads and a population of just 40 to 50 people.  The usual method of reaching it is by boat.  Rodebay was an old Dutch trading post and whaling centre. The village looks out to Disko Bay in which huge icebergs derive from the Kangia Glacier.
A number of the houses keep extremely hardy husky dogs, which are chained outdoors for much of the time.
